2024 & 2025 Breeding Schedule
We normally breed Buttercup back at 60-90 days fresh. New heifers should have their first calf at 2 years old. If we followed that schedule both cows would calve at the same time which isn’t ideal. We have decided to give Buttercup an extended lactation to accommodate for Penny's breeding schedule. Below is our tentative schedule, but please note things may change depending on whether the first round of AI takes or if Penny has the proper body condition.
